Requesting accommodations at UCF for classes or housing due to a disability? If so, please review the information below on how to request accommodations at UCF.
Student Accessibility Services is responsible for determining reasonable disability-related accommodations for undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities at UCF. To begin, submit an SAS application. Notifying UCF faculty or staff does not start the official campus disability accommodation process. Students will receive reasonable accommodation decisions within 10 days of meeting with SAS personnel.

If Requesting Academic Accommodations
Are you seeking accommodations for your classes such as testing accommodations, notetaking technology support, communication access, or other access needs for your lectures, labs, or internships?

If Requesting Housing Accommodations
Are you seeking accommodations for on campus housing such as housing modifications, housing lottery exemption, or to bring an Emotional Support Animal or Service Animal into the residence hall?

Please be sure to complete the application(s) that match what you are requesting. SAS consultants will only discuss housing accommodations for the applications completed prior to the meeting. For example, students should complete the Floorplan Accommodation Application and Lottery Exemption/Waitlist Priority Application if seeking both prior to their meeting. Students should also complete an application for housing prior to requesting housing accommodations.
If Requesting Academic and Housing Accommodations
To streamline the experience, please submit both applications around the same time. This allows SAS to review all requests in one meeting.
If only one application is submitted, SAS may only review that type of accommodation during your initial meeting. A second appointment may be needed to discuss the other.
