Process Details for the Accelerated Review Option

Eligible Accommodations:

• Extended exam time (1.5x or 2x)
• Distraction-reduced exam environment
• Text-to-speech for exams
• Note-taking technology
• Accessible furniture (e.g., adjustable table)

Important Guidelines:

• Only the accommodations listed above are eligible.
• For any additional accommodations requested, a meeting will be required.
• Submit the application and documentation together, within 1 hour of each other.
• Incomplete submissions will be scheduled for a Welcome Meeting.

Documentation Must Include:

• A clear disability/diagnosis
• Explanation of the functional impacts associated with the known disability and how academic experiences are impacted as a result (such as why more time for exams is necessary)

After Submission:

• SAS will review your materials within 2 business days.
• Students will get an email to the UCF account with either approved accommodations or instructions to schedule a meeting.
• Students can still meet with SAS later or request additional accommodations (which will require a meeting).
